Admission requirements

All students from kindergarten through 12th grade new to the district must register through the central online registration system. did not take part in the CCPS in the previous year) you must also register via the central online registration system.The county recently introduced a new student registration system to help parents register their students online from anywhere as long as they can access the internet via a computer, mobile device, or tablet. You do not have to visit the district offices in person. Follow the instructions carefully and prepare to upload the materials required for student registration.Follow the steps below to enroll your child in Colier County Public Schools.

STEP 1: PUT IN ORDER THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

The documents REQUIRED for registration are listed in the links you will see in the school profile and on the application pre-registration. You must have all of these documents to complete the registration process. Here are the documents below

Parent/Legal Guardian Photo Identification: Parent/legal guardian who registers a student must present a valid photo IDOfficial birth certificate (or passport): The birth certificate must have an official seal from the state/country where it was issuedFor Kindergarten pupils, Florida Statute 1003.21 requires a child to be five (5) years old on or before the school year.Parents who provide a passport for proof of age must also provide documentation of proof of parentage, proof of legal custody and/or guardianship, or any other evidence that one is a parent as that term is defined under F.S. 1000.21(5). If such documentation is not available, the person registering the child must present, at the time of registration, an affidavit sworn to by the parent, that he/she is the parent, legal guardian, or otherwise as defined by the statute above

Physical Exam: The date of the physical examination must be completed in the United States within 12 months of the child’s first day of school in Collier County Security Card (if available)Proof of Address: Provide ONE (1) of the following:

Current Exemption Card Collier County (considered the primary residence of the family)Current Collier County property tax bill (may require additional verification)Collier County House Purchase Agreement, the closing date statedA copy of the deed must be presented within 30 days of the closing dateCopy of Parent Submitted Certificate of Residence in Collier CountyA current rental or rental change

AND two (2) of the following:

Current Florida Driver’s License or Florida IDAuto Insurance (last two statements)Account statement for the electricity bill, water bill, cable bill or landline bill (the last two statements of account) *New residents must confirm the installation of services for 2 utilities with name and address

Parents must pay two (2) monthly bills sent to the school within 30 days NOTE: If you are living with someone else, contact the Student Administration Office for further clarification Other documents include:

Proof of custody (if applicable): Court document required if parents/custody names differ from birth certificatePreschool certificates/recordsHIGH SCHOOL (0912) – official certificate of the previous school (official / stamped preferred)MIDDLE SCHOOL (0608) – official certificate of the previous school (official / stamped preferred)Grand-scale (KG05) – graduation / last certificate card and/or a copy of the resignation form 1st CLASS PLACEMENT – Florida Statute 1003.21 requires proof of satisfactory completion of the KGCOPY OF IEP / 504 PLAN (if applicable)Copy of Individual Education Plan (IEP) if the child is attending a special education program or a copy of a plan under Section 504

STEP 2: COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION ONLINE

The next step is to complete your online registration, which can be found in the school’s central online registration system. Steps to Complete the Online Central Registration Application

NOTE: Select the Create Account button “if you don’t have an account an existing username.Select one of the following options Enter your details Enter your home address and postal address Upload the ONLY document you selected from the list above by selecting the appropriate blue button and following the same instructions as in step 6Select TWO of the following Proof of Residence to upload: Bill, Water Bill, Cable Bill or Landline BillUpload the TWO documents you selected from the previous list by selecting the appropriate blue button and following the same instructions as in Step 6,Registration: This part of the registration focuses on the student’s enrollment and previous school information.Health Status: This part of the registration focuses on the student’s health status.Upload documents for the following sections by selecting the appropriate blue button and following the same instructions as in step 6.Parent / Guardian Signature – This is the final step in the registration process.Select the blue box to digitally sign the registration. Select ONE of the following Proof of Residence to upload: Current Collier County Exemption Certificate, Current Collier County Property Tax Notice, Collier County Real Estate Purchase Agreement, Date of Transaction Specified, Copy of Parent-Filed Collier County Address Declaration, or Current Rental – or leasing side.

STEP 3: CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION STATUS

Visit register.collierschools.com to access the central online registration system and view the status of your application. Click the OPEN button to join the log to review any messages remaining in the log.

Tuition

Collier County schools offer a range of scholarships to international students which you can find out more about on their scholarship pages. The tuition fee can be paid per credit hour like every other public school. The rate for undergraduates is rated to be within $30-40$ per credit hour
